I had a quite unique opportunity to visit Guantanamo Bay –as a reporter, not a photographer. I was still able to make a couple of pictures (which were cleared by US military). Perhaps the toughest topic I ever reported…

Ask me what is the most fastinating coutry I have ever visited. My answer: Afghanistan. I witnessed many phases of the endless war in six visit spanning from 1992 to aftermath of the war in terror in 2001-2.

I had a chance to see the fall of Saddam Hussein – I was covering the war in 2003 a 2004 (when the dreams about brighter future disappeared…).
